Touradero

Hi there!

I want to introduce you to a new Touradero feature.

From now on every logged in person is allowed to add photos for a venue.

So just hit the new action “Upload a Photo on a venue page, select the image file and give the photo a caption if you like to.

Every photo is welcome that introduces your venue to artists and visitors!

Today we allowed ourselves to cleanup some tagging information that wasn’t quite target-aimed in our opinion.

Eg:

• deleted some tags that were not really tags - eg. the name of the club or some information that is actually a address information (like: “linz”, “carinthia”)
• merged some tags with the some tags with the same meaning but a different way of writing - eg. we merged “hip hop” with “hiphop”

This cleanup action might give one better results while using the Show similar venues action.

Yesterday evening Touradero.com went somehow live.

I asked a bunch of Austrian venues; venues I am connected to as a guest or as an artist, to add their venues.

Hints about bugs and further ideas are highly appreciated!
