Tag cleanup
Sunday, October 5th, 2008Today we allowed ourselves to cleanup some tagging information that wasn’t quite target-aimed in our opinion.
Eg:
- deleted some tags that were not really tags - eg. the name of the club or some information that is actually a address information (like: “linz”, “carinthia”)
- merged some tags with the some tags with the same meaning but a different way of writing - eg. we merged “hip hop” with “hiphop”
This cleanup action might give one better results while using the Show similar venues action.
